Roman Forum

Print PDF

The monumental centre of ancient Rome, the Forum makes it possible to track the changes in the city’s public, economic and religious life through the evidence provided by Rome’s principle monuments and public spaces.

A recent project to upgrade the area has activated several excavations and a new organization of the whole archaeological area, allowing the public to follow an unforgettable itinerary (free admission) through the heart of the ancient city, across the whole of the area which lies between the Colosseum and the Capitol.
